Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team fell on the road in Sun Belt Conference action on Wednesday night, dropping a 74-60 decision to the UALR Trojans in Little Rock, Arkansas.

UALR outshot Louisiana from the field, 55%-35% in the first half, and took a 30-20 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Trojans continued their hot shooting in the second half, shooting 65%, compared to 43% for the Cajuns, as they went on to the 14-point win.

For the game, UALR outshot Louisiana, 60%-39%, while also finishing with a 30-28 rebound advantage.

Taylor Gault led the way for the Trojans, scoring a game-high 22 points, while Taylor Ford added 15.

In a losing cause for the Cajuns, Brooklyn Arceneaux tied a career-high, with 19 points, along with seven rebounds.

With the victory, UALR improved to 10-9, overall, and 5-4 in Sun Belt Conference play, while Louisiana, who has now lost four-consecutive games, fell to 10-9, overall, and 3-5 in league play.

The UL women return to action on Saturday, hosting ULM in the opening game of a day/night, women's/men's doubleheader at the Cajundome at 5 o'clock.
