UL Basketball Offers Two High Schoolers

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns offered two prep basketball standouts over the weekend, including one from the Acadiana area.

Louisiana has offered scholarships to Carencro forward Joseph Charles and Carver (New Orleans forward Solomon Washington.

The 6-foot-8 Charles, who helped lead Carencro to the Class 4A state title as a freshman in 2018, will be entering his junior year in the fall, and is scheduled to graduate in 2021.

The 6-foot-7 Washington, who will begin his sophomore year in the fall, is slated to graduate in 2022.
