LSU scored seven unearned runs off six Southestern Louisiana errors, as the Tigers improved to 8-0 on Tuesday night at Alex Box Stadium, 7-3.

LSU starter Tyler Jones (2-0) earned the victory after giving up two runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out four and walked two.
