Tigers Open With Wake Forest

The 15th-ranked LSU Tiger baseball teams opens the 2011 season, on Friday evening, playing host to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, in the opener of a three-game set. Bill Franques, of lsusports.net, has a preview, below.

No. 15 LSU opens the 2011 regular season with a three-game series versus Wake Forest beginning at 7 p.m. Friday in Alex Box Stadium.

Game 2 of the series starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, and first pitch for Game 3 is Noon Sunday.
