The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team stuck it out in North Carolina on Monday after their series at Boone over the weekend to face the Campbell Camels. Louisiana would fight the windy weather to claim their 15th straight victory in a 3-0 winner over the Camels to improve to 38-4 on the season.

Carrie Boswell got the start for the Cajuns and she was very effective through 5.1 innings allowing only three hits. Summer Ellyson had to come in during the sixth inning as the Camels got two runners on but Ellyson put out the fire quickly by striking out both batters she faced. We also can't forget about Alison Deville as she locked down the save. With the win, Boswell improves to 9-0 on the season.

It was a quick start for UL offensively as Keeli Milligan continued to swing a hot bat getting on to start the inning and then created havoc. Milligan preceded to steal second and third making it more simple for Julie Rawls to plate her with a fly ball and just like that the Cajuns were up 1-0 after one inning.

More damage would come in the third inning as Louisiana executed a perfect double steal with runners on the corners as Sarah Hudek stole second, the throw went through and Julie Rawls trotted home for the score. UL now led 2-0.

Finally, to put a cap on the scoring the Cajuns got a little bit of insurance when Sarah Hudek singled to center with two outs to score Aeriyl Mass for a 3-0 lead.

Keeli Milligan was a pest at the top of the lineup by collecting three hits and swiping two bags. Sarah Hudek contributed a run and an RBI going 2-4 and Alissa Dalton continued her hot hitting by going 2-3 on the day.

The Cajuns will be right back at it on Tuesday heading to UNC Greensboro, first pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
