Ragin’ Cajun Bryce Washington Named Lou Henson All-American
Louisiana Ragin' Cajun big man Bryce Washington has been named to the Lou Henson All-America Team by collegeinsider.com, making him 1 of 40 finalists for the prestigious Lou Henson award, given to college basketball's best mid-major player.
The award is named for the long time Illinois and New Mexico State coach, who is one of only 12 coaches to take two different schools to the Final Four.
Washington is one of only five players in Division I college basketball to average a double-double the last two seasons.
A first-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection this season, Washington wrapped up his illustrious career two weeks ago as 1 of only 4 players in both school and SBC history to score over 1,000 points and grab over 1,000 rebounds in a career.
