LSU Takes On Cal State-Fullerton

The 7th-ranked LSU baseball team plays host to the 6th-ranked Cal State-Fullerton Titans, on Friday evening, in the opening game of a marquee non-conference, weekend series. Bill Franques, of lsusports.net, has the story, below.

No. 7 LSU (12-1) opens a three-game series against No. 6 Cal State Fullerton at 7 p.m. Friday in Alex Box Stadium. Game 2 is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, and Game 3 begins at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The series features two Top 10 teams - LSU is ranked No. 7 this week in the Collegiate Baseball magazine poll, and the Tigers are No. 8 in the USA Today/ESPN ranking. Cal State Fullerton is ranked No. 6 by Baseball America and No. 8 by Collegiate Baseball.
