
LSU Comes Back To Defeat Brown
Fourth ranked LSU got a sacrifice fly to left in the bottom of the ninth inning from 3B Christian Ibarra to break a tie and walk off with a 4-3 victory over Brown on Friday night.
Ibarra drove in second baseman Jacoby Jones on the score.
Tigers ace Aaron Nola (pictured) had a career night on the rubber, fanning a career-best 11 Brown batters in seven innings of work. He allowed on 3 hits and no earned runs.
LSU reliever Chris Cotton (1-0) earned the victory after retiring the side in the ninth.
LSU and Brown will play once more Saturday night. First pitch from Alex Box Stadium is set for 6:30.
