Selected by Oakland with the 85th-overall selection, Harris joined Blake Trahan (84^th, Reds – 2015) and Darrin Babineaux (50^th, Dodgers – 1995) as the highest Cajun selections since Tony Robichaux took over the program in 1995.

A native of Longville, La., Lee appeared in 9 games, including two starts for the Hudson Valley Renegades in the New York-Penn League, going 1-1 with a 9.42 ERA.

In 14 innings on the bump, Lee allowed 15 earned runs on 17 hits, while striking out 12 hitters.

Lee registered a 16-12 record with three saves in 51 appearances in three seasons with Louisiana. A 2016 Freshman All-American, Lee logged 197 strikeouts in 223.0 career innings while making double-digit starts in ever year.

Left-handed pitcher Colten Schmidt was the fourth and last Cajun to be taken in the draft, selected in the 23rd round by the Colorado Rockies.

A native of La Porte, Texas, Schmidt appeared in nine games for the Boise Hawks of the Northwest League, all as a reliever, allowing 12 runs on 17 hits, over 10 innings of work.

A second team All-America selection and the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year,, Schmidt had a banner year for Louisiana in 2018, posting a 7-0 record with a league-best 2.45 ERA.
