A former member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team has transferred to an SEC school.

Catcher Brittany Nollkamper, who played for the Cajuns from 2016-2017, has transferred to the University of Arkansas.

A native of Katy, Texas, Nollkamper appeared in 19 games as a freshman in 2016, seeing time behind the plate after All-American Lexie Elkins suffered a hand injury.

In 20 at-bats, Nollkamper hit a .150,accumulating three hits, including a double and a run batted in.

Last season, Nollkamper appeared in 17 games, mostly as a defensive replacement, with only one plate appearance.

A product of Cinco Ranch High School, the same school that UL outfielder Kelli Martinez attended, Nollkamper made the decision to leave the Cajun softball program before the start of fall practice.

We wish Brittany the very best.
