College Football AP Top 25 Poll Released, LSU Just Makes The Cut

The Associated Press (AP) preseason top 25 college football poll has been released, with no big surprises at the top.

Alabama comes in ranked #1, receiving 42 of the first place votes, while Clemson begins the season #2, earning 18 first place votes.

Only one other school earned a first place votes, as #4 Wisconsin received 1.

The SEC and Big 10 each landed 5 schools in the top 25, while the ACC, Big 12 and Pac-12 landed 4.

LSU just made the cut in the poll, coming in at #25. Their first opponent, the Miami Hurricane, rank 8th.
