The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns open their final five game week of the season tonight when they travel to Ruston to take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (29-13) at J. C. Love Field.  Gametime is scheduled for 6:00 pm.

The Cajuns (22-19) will be running into a red hot Bulldogs squad that has won five straight and scored ten or more runs in each of those games.  The Cajuns were one of those victims, falling to Tech 15-2 last Tuesday night at Russo Park.  The win streak puts the Bulldogs at 13-5 in Conference USA, just one half game behind league leader Southern Miss.

David Leal (3-2, 1.55), who stymied the Cajuns last Tuesday, will get the start for Louisiana Tech, whose pitching staff is third in the nation in ERA (2.58).  It's believed lefty Austin Perrin (2-5, 5.09) will get the start for the Cajuns, although head coach Tony Robichaux would not confirm Perrin as his starter.

Mason Robinson had a hot week for the Bulldogs last week and was named the Conference USA Player of the Week along with the same award from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.  Robinson hit for the cycle against the Cajuns last Tuesday.

Louisiana will return home Wednesday night against New Orleans before traveling to Georgia State for a  three game series this weekend.
