The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns hit .304 as a team in their first three games and averaged scoring six runs per contest.

But the Louisiana pitching staff is a work in progress.

The Cajuns surrendered eight walks in the series finale Sunday and UT San Antonio took advantage, beating the Cajuns 11-5 at Roadrunner Field.

The Cajuns led 3-2 in the fifth inning, but the Roadrunners tallied three runs in the fifth and four in the sixth to win the game going away.

Eric Carter (0-1) took the loss, giving up three runs, two earned, in 1.1 innings.  Greg Milhorn started for the Cajuns and allowed just two hits over three innings, but walked four batters.

In addition, the Cajuns committed two errors resulting in four unearned runs.

Stefan Trosclair, Blake Trahan and Brenn Conrad each had two hits for the Cajuns.  Trosclair and Derek Herrington both homered for Louisiana.

The Cajuns travel to Natchitoches Wednesday to take on Northwestern State.  The Cajuns home opener is next Friday vs. Stony Brook.
