Ragin' Cajun punter Steven Coutts arrived in Lafayette last year from Australia, walking into a new culture, sport and team.

While he experienced growing pains, he worked his tail off (as evidenced by Coach Hud's statement), averaing 42.4 yards per attempt, good for third-best average among all NCAA Division I freshmen.

We sat down with the Aussie at media day last week, talking culture shock, teammates, rugby and and whether Coach Hud's comment makes him feel uncomfortable.
