Where can you find UL sports on the radio this weekend?

With baseball, softball, and men’s/women’s basketball all overlapping this weekend, and all at home, it’s the busiest time of the year for Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun athletics.

Due to all the activity, there will be a couple of tweaks in the radio coverage.

Softball

The 19th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun softball team plays host to the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational at Lamson Park. UL will play in the event Friday and Saturday, with two games each day, against the likes of Alcorn St., North Dakota St., and Texas A&M- Corpus Christi.

Game Times:

Friday – 4 pm & 6:15 pm
Saturday – 2 pm & 4:30 pm
Sunday – 11:30 am & 1:45 pm

Baseball

The 16th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun baseball team plays host to the Southern Miss Golden Eagles this weekend at "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park, in a three-game, weekend, non-conference series.

Game Times:

Friday – 6 pm
Saturday – 2 pm
Sunday – 1 pm

Pregame begins 30 minutes prior to first-pitch on Saturday and Sunday, with the broadcast joined in time for the opening pitch on Friday.

Women’s Basketball

Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team plays their 2016-2017 regular season finale on Saturday, playing host to the UT-Arlington Mavericks in a Sun Belt Conference affair that will represent the opening game of a women’s/men’s doubleheader at the Cajundome.

Men’s Basketball

Finally, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team, in the back end of that roundball twin bill, will play the UT-Arlington Mavericks in a Sun Belt Conference match-up, representing the final regular season game of the season for the Cajuns.
