The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team had another dominant pitching performance and clutch hitting from Alex Pinero and Steven Sensley to get the series sweep against the Little Rock Trojans and win their 8th straight game. Coach Robichaux said before the game, "In life you do less to retire, in sports you've earned the right to do more." The Cajuns did that and more in the third game of the series falling behind early but coming back to win the game with great picthing from all three pitchers and getting timely hitting when it counted most.

For the second game in a row the Cajuns were put into an early deficit when the Trojans scored on an RBI single in the 1st inning. The run in the 1st inning was the only run that starting pitcher Hogan Harris would give up. Harris also struck out 10 batters in the 5 innings he pitched.

Colten Schmidt came in the 6th inning to relieve Harris. The Cajuns were down 1-0 until the 7th inning when Hunter Kasuls scored on a throwing error to tie the game up. Schmidt would give up two unearned runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to give the Trojans the lead again.

The Cajuns got a clutch 2-RBI single from Alex Pinero in the top of the 8th to tie the game back up. Dylan Moore came in the game in the top of the 8th inning after Schmidt allowed the lead off man to reach base. Dylan Moore did his thing and didn't allow the base runner in the 8th to score. The Cajuns would head to the 9th inning with momentum after tying the game up in the 8th after not scoring until the 7th inning.

Brad Antchak would give the Cajuns a lead off runner in the 9th and Joe Robbins would sacrifice bunt him to 2nd base. Steven Sensley came up to bat with one thing on his mind and that was to give the Cajuns the lead. He hit a 2-run home run to give the Cajuns the lead and they didn't look back. Dylan Moore would get two groundouts and a strikeout in the final frame to preserve to Cajuns' win.

The Cajuns will continue their road trip when they travel to Sugarland, Texas to face off against the Texas Longhorns on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The Cajuns will then come back home for a single game against the Mcneese State Cowboys on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
