He's only 21 games into his college head coaching career, but Louisiana head coach Billy Napier's name is already starting to surface as a potential candidate for an SEC head coaching job.

Joe Moorhead, currently the head coach at Mississippi State, is also in his second season.  But Moorhead's name has been prominently mentioned as a replacement for Rutgers, should the Scarlet Knights decide to move on from Chris Ash.

The move would make some sense, as Moorhead was previously the offensive coordinator at another Big Ten school, Penn State.

In addition, fan reaction at Mississippi State hasn't exactly warmed to Moorhead, especially after the Bulldogs lost at Tennessee a couple of weeks ago.  Several Mississippi State fans have suggested AD John Cohen needs to make a move and they like Napier a lot.

One writer, Ethan Lee of fansided.com, has his top five candidates to replace Moorhead, should either Rutgers or Cohen make a move.  He not only says Napier is a candidate, he is THE candidate.
