Although most of the players from Penn State have vowed to remain at the school in the aftermath of the NCAA sanctions against the school, at least four players, including the Nittany Lions prized running back, have decided to transfer.

As rumored, running back Silas Redd, Jr. is headed to USC, a school that is considered to be in the mix for a national championship this year.

Penn State players have the option of transferring without penalty after the sanctions were levied against PSU last week.  Redd is a junior with two years of eligibility remaining.  He'll compete for the starting job at USC.

Three other players, QB Rob Bolden (LSU), TE Kevin Haplea (Florida State) and LB Khairi Fortt (Cal) have also announced plans to transfer.  All three saw playing time last season.  Bolden is expected to be Zach Metterberger's backup at LSU.
