It wasn't that long ago that the Sun Belt Conference had just one bowl tie in:  The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

In December of 2015, they'll have four.

The Orlando Sports Foundation and the Sun Belt Conference made the announcement today.  The game will pit a Sun Belt team against a team from the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and will be played the weekend before Christmas.

The GoDaddy bowl became a part of the Sun Belt lineup in 2010.  And, the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama has its inaugural game after the 2014 football season.

The Cure Bowl will fund breast cancer research.  It will be played in the newly renovated Citrus Bowl.

In addition to New Orleans, Mobile, Montgomery and Orlando, the Sun Belt will also be part of a rotation to appear in the Miami Beach Bowl and the Bahamas Bowl.
