Wide Receiver Al Riles emerged as a leader recently for the Ragin' Cajuns, and he's not shy about his feelings toward South Alabama.

Two years ago, the Cajuns suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Jaguars. Luckily for the Riles and the rest of his teammates, the motivation for this game is pretty simple. A win would keep their bowl hopes alive, and a loss would throw them in peril of missing out.

"As of now, we're not worried about the stats, the rankings, none of the extra stuff," Riles said. "We're just playing for each other."

Riles and his buddy, Otha Peters (who Riles speaks about in the video above), have been an emotional spark for this team, and they arrived at a critical time. With the rough start to the season, it took a bit of a kick in the middle of the year to keep the morale up.

"We're finally moving in a positive direction," Riles said. "Just take baby steps."

Listen to Riles' full press conference in the video above to hear his thoughts about the usage of both QB's Brooks Haack and Jalen Nixon, the upcoming grudge match against South Alabama and his views on leadership.
