Ragin’ Cajun Softball Moves Into Top 20 In Latest Polls

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball has moved up in both polls after the first week of the college softball season.

With a perfect 5-0 record coming out of the Mardi Gras Classic tournament, Gerry Glasco's squad climbed up 5 spots in the ESPN/USA softball poll to #19.

They moved up six spots in the NFCA poll, breaking into the top 20 at #16.

Louisiana will be tested this week.

Thursday, they host Oregon State from the PAC-12, before welcoming #2 Florida (doubleheader Saturday, single game Sunday) of the SEC for a 3 game series this weekend at Lamson Park.
