The LSU Tigers are losing another underclassmen to the 2018 NFL Draft.

A redshirt junior, Clapp becomes the sixth LSU junior to declare early for the draft, joining right tackle Toby Weathersby, running back Derrius Guice, outside linebacker Arden Key, and  cornerbacks Donte Jackson and Kevin Toliver.

A first-team All-SEC selection this season, Clapp was a Rimington Award finalist, an award given to the top center in college football.

After redshirting his first season at LSU, Clapp has started every game for the Tigers since 2015.

After playing guard for much of his first two seasons, Clapp made the fulltime switch to center this past season, starting all 13 games at the position.
