LSU second baseman JaCoby Jones delivered three hits, including a solo home run, and right-hander Matty Ott tied former LSU All-American Rick Greene's school record for career saves as the seventh-ranked Tigers held off Mississippi Valley State, 10-8, Wednesday night in Alex Box Stadium.

The Tigers (9-0) improved to 4-0 all-time versus Mississippi Valley State. The Delta Devils (0-9) remained winless on the season.
