The LSU Tigers released the non-conference portion of their basketball schedule today and an appearance in the Maui Jim Maul Invitational highlights the 12-game schedule, with eight of the games at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The Tigers, under first year head coach Will Wade, will open the season Friday, November 10 against Alcorn State.  That is the night before the LSU-Arkansas football game.  The Tigers wll face Samford before heading to Maui, where they will face Michigan.  Either Notre Dame or Chaminade will be their second round opponent.  Cal, VCU, Wichita State and Marquette round out the field.

The Tigers have six other home games, hosting UT Martin, UNC Wilmington, Houston, Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State, and North Florida.  LSU's lone road game after Maui is at Memphis on December 28th.
