LSU Found Inspiration From Kicker James Hairston In Win Over South Carolina

How did a player whose only job is to kickoff inspire an entire football team before a pivotal top 10 showdown? LSU Tiger placekicker James Hairston (pictured left) gave his team a speech on Friday night that left his team in tears. It also created intensity, kinship, and above all, inspiration.

It was a players only meeting when the sophomore from Dallas stood up and gave an impassioned speech about losing his Mother as a young teenager, turning to football, and looking at his Tiger teammates as family.
