LSU forward Johnny O'Bryant was selected in the 2nd round of the NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks.

After leading the Tigers in scoring last season (15.4 ppg), O'Bryant decided to forgo his senior season and enter the NBA draft. Working out for 16 different teams, the Milwaukee Bucks had serious interest in O'Bryant, according to multiple reports.

Thursday night, the Bucks selected O'Bryant in the second round, taking him 36th overall.

"I am really excited for Johnny O'Bryant and his family," LSU basketball coach Johnny Jones said to Trey Labat of nola.com. "It's great to see his patience and his hard work has paid off."

O'Bryant is one of fourteen players in LSU history whose a member of the 1,000 point, 700 rebound club, leaving the Tigers with 1,157 points and 702 boards.
