The third-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team racked-up another win on Saturday night, defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide, 7-1, in the middle game of a three-game, weekend, SEC series, at Alex Box Stadium.

The Tigers have now won the first two games of the series.

Designated hitter Raph Rhymes led the way for LSU at the plate, going 3-for-4, with two runs, and an RBI.

Right-hander Ryan Eades (5-1) picked-up the win for the Tigers, while Justin Kamplain (1-3) suffered the loss for the Crimson Tide.

With the win, LSU improved to 29-7 overall, and 10-4 in SEC play, while Alabama fell to 13-22 overall, and 4-10 in league play.

The series finale is set for Sunday at 12:05 pm.
