Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun Soccer Coach Scot Wieland Resigns, Will Not Return In 2019
Louisiana Ragin' Cajun soccer coach Scot Wieland has resigned and will not return in 2019, as per Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard.
Wieland served in his role from 2005 until today. The team's record under his regime was 93-143-32.
“We greatly appreciate Scot’s efforts in leading the Louisiana Soccer program, and for being a positive influence in the lives of so many student-athletes,” Maggard said in a statement. “We wish Scot the very best with his future endeavors.”
Assistant coach Lisa Mann will serve as head coach during a national search process for Wieland's replacement which begins immediately.
