Both Baseball America and D1Baseball released their NCAA baseball tournament projections this week and both agree the state of Louisiana will have four teams in the NCAA tournament.

They don't necessarily agree on seeding and/or venue, however.

Both websites do a projection each week based on what they think would happen if the tournament were to start now.  And, these projections can change drastically from week to week.

Here are the highlights of the latest:

D1BASEBALL--As of today, they like Florida as the #1 overall national seed.  They like the Cajuns headed to College Station as the #2 seed, paired with Texas A&M, Houston and Wright State.

They have both LSU and Southeastern La. headed to Mobile (where Sun Belt member South Alabama would be the host and #1 seed) with Jacksonville out of the Atlantic Sun as the #4 seed.  Speaking of the Sun Belt, future member Coastal Carolina is projected as the #2 seed at South Carolina, who is the #5 national seed.

And, under this projection, Tulane would be headed to #4 national seed Mississippi State, where they would be the #3 seed, with #2 Southern MIss and #4 Southeast Missouri State both in the field as well.

D1baseball has the Cajuns' three opponents in the College Classic all hosting regionals:  Texas Tech (BYU, New Mexico, Hartford) is projected as the #7 national seed, while TCU (Oregon St., Creighton, Oral Roberts) and Rice (Oklahoma State, Lamar, Bryant) are listed as host sites as well.

BASEBALL AMERICA--Will there be an NCAA Regional in Hattiesburg?  Baseball America thinks so and they have the Cajuns headed there as a #3 seed with #1 Southern Miss and #2 Ole Miss also in the field, with a tough #4 seed in pitching-rich Creighton.

They, like D1baseball, have a regional at South Alabama, with LSU and Southeastern headed there.  D1baseball projects Alabama St. out of the SWAC as the #4 seed.  Coastal Carolina, under this projection, would be headed to South Carolina as the #3 seed with #2 Georgia Tech and #4 Princeton in the field.

Tulane would be headed to Nashville, where they would be the #2 seed at Vanderbilt. Virginia and Kent State would join them there.

Baseball America has Rice headed to Lubbock as the #2 seed at Texas Tech, with New Mexico and Southeast Missouri State.  Texas Tech is projected as the #5 national seed.  Right behind them as the #6 seed would be TCU, where they would host Houston, Lamar and Bryant.

In the Baseball America projection, Miami is the #1 national seed.
