History of UL Football Helmets

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have worn a number of different helmets throughout their football history.

Formerly Southwestern Louisiana Insitute (SLI) from 1898-1960 and the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) from 1960-1999, the program has used many different logos, fonts, and colors on its helmets.

Below is a picture of miniature helmets, representing replicas of 33 of the 35 helmets that the school has used.
