Former UL Softball Player Katie Repole Joins Power 5 Staff

A former member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns is joining the coaching staff of an SEC school.

Katie Repole, who appeared in five games for Louisiana in 2016, is joining the coaching staff of Texas A&M as a volunteer assistant coach.

A native of San Antonio, Texas, Repole began her collegiate career at Illinois, where she appeared in 79 games, including 66 as a starter in two season, hitting .199 with 21 runs batted in.

After transferring to Louisiana and redshirting in 2015, Repole went hitless in two at-bats over five games as a Cajuns in 2016.

Repole served as an assistant coach at Virginia for the past three seasons (2017-2019).
