The Atlanta Hawks went on a 15-2 run to turn a four point deficit into a nine point lead and knocked off the Chicago Bulls 103-95 in game one of the Eastern Conference semifinal at the United Center in Chicago.

Joe Johnson scored 34 points to lead the Hawks.  Eight of his points came during the run that gave Atlanta the lead.  He hit 12-18 from the field and all five of his three-point attempts.

Chicago also got a scare at the end of the game when league MVP Derrick Rose came up limping at the end of the game when he turned his left ankle.  Rose said afterward he should be able to play in game two.

Game two is tomorrow night in Chicago.
