Coastal’s Head FB Coach to Miss Season

Coastal Carolina enters its first transition year into the Sun Belt Conference.

And, they'll have to do it without their head coach.

Chanticleer's head man Joe Moglia issued a press release saying he is taking a five month medical sabbatical to deal with a health issue.

Moglia will undergo treatment for a "bronchial asthmatic reaction to allergies" which causes breathing problems.  He stressed he does not have a disease and is in no danger.  He missed Sun Belt media days after undergoing a procedure.

Assistant coach Jamey Chadwell has been named interim head coach.
