The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns play host to a Big Ten school this weekend as they take on the Maryland Terrapins in a three game series at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.  Game times are Friday at 6:30, and now a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2:00.

All three games can be heard on KPEL 96.5 FM with pre game scheduled for 30 minutes before first pitch.

Coach Tony Robichaux has announced Gunner Leger (0-0, 0.00) will get the start tonight for the Cajuns.  Leger, after pitching five shutout innings against Texas in the season opener, missed last week's start as a precautionary measure.  Junior Dalton Horton (1-0, 0.82) will start game two of the series.  Robichaux has left the game three starter to be announced.

After dropping their first two games in an opening season tournament in Conway, SC against Campbell and Coastal Carolina, Maryland (5-2) has won five straight, beating VCU twice and sweeping a three game series at home against Maine.

Hunter Parsons (1-0, 1.38) gets the game one start for Rob Vaughn's squad.  Zach Thompson (1-1, 6.10) will start game two, while Trevor LaBonte (0-0, 2.84) gets the game three start.  Thompson and LaBonte will be making their third start of the season, while LaBonte gets the ball in a starting role for the second time. All three starters are right handed.  John Murphy (0-0, 3 saves, 1.80) and Nick Turnbull (0-0, 1 save, 0.00) lead the Terps' bullpen.

Randy Bednar (.370-2-7), Maxwell Costes (.333-0-8), Taylor Wright (.296-0-5) and Caleb Walls (.296-1-1) lead the Terrapins offense.
