
Cajun Pitchers Stoelke, Lee, Taken in Ninth Round of MLB Draft
Two more pitchers for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have been taken on the second day of the Major League Baseball draft.
In addition to Hogan Harris, drafted in the third round by Oakland, Cajun RHP Logan Stoelke and Nick Lee were both selected in the ninth round.
Stoelke, a senior, went to Pittsburgh with the 264th overall pick, while Lee, a junior, was taken by Tampa Bay six picks later at #270.
Stoelke served as the Cajuns' late inning relief specialist in 2018, amassing a 4-0 record with ten saves and an ERA of 2.97 despite missing two and a half weeks with a groin injury. Lee, meanwhile, notched three saves in Stoelke's absence and finished 3-7 with a 5.07 ERA.
