The Alabama Crimson Tide top the fourth College Football Playoff rankings which were released on Tuesday night.

Alabama, who has been the top team in the AP poll all year, in ranked in the top spot of the College Football Playoff rankings for a second-consecutive week.

Miami, who, like Alabama, is unbeaten this season, is up to #2 this week, while Clemson, the defending national champions, drops one spot to #3.

Oklahoma remains at #4 this week.

A new College Football Playoff ranking will be released weekly until after the conference championship games, set for Dec. 2. From there, the top four teams will be placed in the playoff semifinal games, which are set for January 1, in the Sugar and Rose bowl games.

The College Football Playoff championship will be January 8 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

5-10 consists of Wisconsin, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Penn St..

The LSU Tigers are #18 in this week's rankings, up two spots from a week ago.
