With Three Weeks Left, Nothing Decided in Sun Belt
After Saturday's action in the Sun Belt Conference, the race to get a bye in the first round of the tournament is more undecided than ever.
Five teams are sitting with six losses and another is just a game behind with three weeks to play in the regular season.
Louisiana moved back to a 1 1/2 game lead by winning at Georgia Southern, 102-91, while Georgia State was being upset by ULM, 90-82, the second straight overtime win for the Warhawks.
Troy and South Alabama were both winners, sweeping their weekends at home. Troy was a winner against Little Rock, 82-64, while South Alabama was an 87-67 winner over Arkansas State.
UTA sent Texas State to their fourth straight conference loss, winning in overtime 70-68 in Arlington and Appalachian State was a winner at Coastal Carolina 81-66.
