Will former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun baseball star Jonathan Lucroy return to the Oakland A's in 2019?

While it still is a good possibility that may be the case, apparently it is not going to happen anytime soon.

Of course, that doesn't mean that the two parties won't agree on a contract in the future, as they reportedly have a mutual interest in joining forces once more.

A member of the UL baseball squad from 2005-2007, before being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the third round of the 2007 amateur entry draft, Lucroy, a two-time National League All-Star selection (2014 & 2016), hit a .241, to go along with 4 home runs and 51 runs batted in for the A's in 2018.
