UL Women Take On FAU

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday night, when they travel to Boca Raton, Florida, to take on the FAU Owls, in Sun Belt Conference play.

Louisiana defeated UALR, 56-54, in double overtime, on Saturday, to move to 7-6 overall, and 1-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FAU was an 82-72 winner over ULM last Saturday, moving them to 7-5 overall, and 4-0 in league play.

The Cajuns are led by freshman guard Sylvana Okde, who is averaging 12.0 points-per-game, while the Owls are paced by junior forward Chenise Miller, who is averaging 14.5 points a contest.

FAU leads the all-time series, 6-3, including a 66-52 win over Louisiana last season in Lafayette.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 6 o'clock.
