Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns softball team concludes their fall slate on Sunday with the annual alumni game at Lamson Park.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed back to Sunday, due to rain in the area on Saturday.

First-pitch is scheduled for 1 o'clock, as the program turns back the clock to remember some of the special players/people that have helped make it one of the most respected in the country.

Louisiana has qualified for an NCAA Regional for 17 years, including 25 of the last 26 years, and have qualified for four-consecutive Super Regionals, including five of the last six, and six of the last eight, while appearing in the Women's College World Series six times, including their last trip in 2014.

Some of the former players that are scheduled to play are Christi Orgeron, Sarah Draheim, Christina Hamilton, Leandra Maly, Matte Hacck, Jordan Wallace, Taylor Meaux, Natalie Fernandez, Brianna Cherry, Taryn Broussard, Katie Smith, Vallie Gaspard, Gabrielle Bridges, and Callie Phelan.

The Cajuns open up their 2016 regular season schedule on February 12, in the first day of play in the NCAA Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Louisiana will be at home for the first time on Friday, February 19, in the opening day of play in the 30th annual Louisiana Classics.
