The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns moved down a few notches in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Louisiana is down seven spots, to #43, in this week's ESPN Power Index.

This marks the 3rd time in the last 12 weeks that the Cajuns have not either climbed or remained the same in the Power Index.

UL defeated ULM, 31-30, in their regular-season finale last Saturday, to improve to 10-2, overall, and 7-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, clinching the first 10-win season in school history.

The Cajuns, who have won 10 of their last 11 games, return to action on Saturday, when they take on the Appalachian St. Mountaineers in the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game in Boone, North Carolina.

The Power Index still projects Louisiana to win 10 games this season, as postseason game do count against a school's record.

Ohio St. is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Clemson, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia.

Louisiana is the second-highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference, with only Appalachian St. ahead of them, at #30.
