Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team is on the road for Sun Belt Conference action on Friday night, as they take on the UALR Trojans, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend series, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Louisiana comes into the series with an overall record of 19-21, and a Sun Belt Conference mark of 7-11, while UALR stands at 20-20, and 7-7, respectively.

The Cajuns and Trojans are currently tied with ULM for seventh place in the league standings, one game ahead of last place Troy, but only one game behind sixth-place WKU.

Senior right-hander Jordan Nicholson (3-4, 3.86 era) is expected to get the start for UL in the series opener, while UALR is expected to counter with junior right-hander Chance Cleveland (7-3, 3.89 era).

Game times for the series are 6 o'clock on Friday night, 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock for the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
