In addition to Louisiana's win over Texas State last night, there were three other games played in the Sun Belt Conference.last night.

And, the league gets national television exposure tonight when Georgia Southern plays host to Georgia State on ESPN2.  Game time is 8:00 pm.

Here are the results from last night, followed by the latest Sun Belt standings.

SOUTH ALABAMA 77, APPALACHIAN STATE 66--Big nights for Josh Ajayi and Rodrick Sikes as the Jags won their second road game of the year.  Ajayi has 26 points and 14 boards while Sikes added 24.  It was the fifth straight win by the Jaguars over the Mountaineers.  Ajayi scored 14 of his points in the final six minutes.

TROY 66, COASTAL CAROLINA 65--Make it four in a row for the Trojans as Jordan Varnado's late basket and a free throw by Kevin Baker proved to be the difference.  Troy battled back from a double digit deficit in the second half.  Amidou Bamba's dunk with 1:45 left gave the Chanticleers the lead before the late heroics.  Coastal has lost three straight.

ULM 84, UTA 71--Make it three straight for the Warhawks, who nailed 13 triples last night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.  Michael Ertel and current SBC Player of the Week Sam McDowell combined to score 39 points which snapped UTA's three game winning streak.  Eric Neal hit nine three pointers and scored 39 points, but the Mavericks made only 26 of 62 from the field.  ULM led by as many as 18 in the second half.
