
Saturday in the Sun Belt
We all know what happened at Cajun Field Saturday as ULM defeated the Cajuns in overtime, 56-50. But what else happened in the league.

TROY 22, AKRON 17--Brandon Silvers hit Deondre Douglas with a touchdown pass with 1:08 left as Troy (3-1) survived the Zips' upset bid.
GEORGIA STATE 28, CHARLOTTE 0--After losing to an FCS team and getting blown out by Penn State, the Panthers (1-2) got in the win column as Penny Hart had eleven catches for 141 yards and a touchdown.
NEW MEXICO STATE 41, UTEP 14--The Aggies (2-2) completed a sweep of their two arch rivals with a convincing win. Tyler Rogers threw for 283 yards and the Aggies intercepted five UTEP passes.
IDAHO 29, SOUTH ALABAMA 23 (2 OT)--Cajun Field wasn't the only site of a double overtime conference game Isaiah Saunders touchdown run was the game winner in a contest delayed twice by weather. Idaho is 2-2, 1-0 in the Sun Belt, while the Jags are 1-3, 0-1.
WAKE FOREST 20, APPALACHIAN STATE 19--The Mountaineers had a chance, but Michael Rubino's 39 yard field goal attempt with :05 left was blocked. The Mountaineers also suffered a blocked extra point and missed field goal in the game.
INDIANA 52, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 17--The Eagles' woes continued in Bloomington, The Eagles (0-3) have been outscored 115-36 this season in three games.
WESTERN CAROLINA 52, COASTAL CAROLINA 10--The Chanticleers (1-2) became the second Sun Belt team to lose to an FCS team. CCU gave up 45 unanswered points and turned it over four times after holding a 10-7 lead.
SMU 44, ARKANSAS STATE 21--The Red Wolves (1-2) led 14-10 late int he first quarter but the Mustangs (2-1) gashed the Arkansas State defense for 315 yards on the ground.
UTSA 44, TEXAS STATE 14--The Roadrunners (3-0) remained undefeated against their rival just to the north. UTSA had 569 yards in offense against the Bobcats (1-3)
