The New Orleans Saints continue to make waves, trading wide receiver Kenny Stills to the Miami Dolphins for linebacker Dannell Ellerby and Miami's 3rd round pick, according to Pro Football Talk.

Stills, 23, played his first two seasons with New Orleans, reeling in 95 catches for 1,572 yards and 8 touchdowns. He has two years left on his rookie deal, and is due to make only $585,000 this season and $675,000 in 2016.

Ellerbe, 29, spent most of the 2014 seasons on injured reserve for the Dolphins. He was due $8.425 million, $6.45 million, and $6 million in each of the next three seasons.

Ellerbe was rumored to be cut by Miami, but the Dolphins create $5.05M in cap space by trading him.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that Ellerbe has agreed to restructure his contract, helping the Saints remain below the salary cap.

With the Dolphins 3rd round pick, New Orleans now owns two first round picks (13, 31), a second rounder, two third rounders, two fifth rounders, a sixth rounder and a seventh round pick.

With the recent trades of Ben Grubbs and Stills, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald sent out an interesting tweet earlier today.
