Robichaux Named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week

Freshman right-hander Austin Robichaux's three hitter on Saturday got the Cajuns their first Sun Belt series win since Easter.

Today the Sun Belt Conference rewarded him for the performance.

The league named Robichaux the Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week today after pitching his first career shutout.

Robichaux did not allow a leadoff hitter to reach base in the three hit gem shortened by the mercy rule in game three of the series.  He didn't walk a batter.

Robichaux will be back in action this weekend when the Cajuns host ULM in hopes of earning a berth in the SBC tournament next week in Bowling Green.
