Robe Era ‘Best of’ Bracket – Round Two

There were a couple of upsets, seed-wise, in the first round of voting to find the top pitcher and offensive player in the Tony Robichaux Era.

But the upsets weren't a shock.

Both came on the hitting side where #9 Scott Hawkins knocked off #8 Dallas Morris, 56.5% to 43.5%.  And, #10 Steven Feehan eliminated #7 Corey Coles in a tight one, 50.6%-49.4%.

Both are understandable, since Hawkins is the all-time home run leader at UL, while Feehan is the all-time hits leader.

The pitching side saw one mild upset at #9 Danny Farquhar defeated #8, Andy Gros, 59-7%-41.3%.  And, in the closest vote of the day, #7 Justin Gabriel defeated #10 Austin Robichaux 50.4% to 49.6%

A reminder that voting for Round Two will end at 9 am Wednesday morning.
