Ragin’ Cajuns P Gunner Leger Named Finalist For CLASS Award

Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior Gunner Leger has been named 1 of 10 finalists for the Senior CLASS Award.

The nationally-recognized Senior CLASS (Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®), Award is given to a senior student-athlete who uses their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders, excelling in community, classroom, character and competition.

Leger certainly fits the bill.

The former Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year, All-American, and Golden Spikes Award semi-finalist is in his 5th season with Louisiana, after redshirting last season while recovering from multiple surgeries.

Voting will determine who wins the award.
