LSU Makes A Big Jump Up In Latest Top 25 Polls
Week 1 of college football is in the books and as there is each year, a lot of movement took place in the top 25 poll.
After opening the season ranked #25 in the AP poll, the LSU Tigers put together an impressive 33-17 victory over #8 Miami on Sunday.
With the win, LSU climbs up 14 spots to #11 this week, while Miami fell back 14 spots to #22.
Florida State and Texas both fell out of the poll after their week 1 losses, having been ranked #19 and #23 before the season kicked off.
Two SEC schools entered the top 25 this week after previously being unranked, as South Carolina and Florida come in at #24 and #25.
One Sun Belt school, Arkansas State, received a vote in the top 25 poll, while 18 other schools received votes as well.
