Chick-fil-A on Louisiana Avenue in Lafayette, Louisiana to Re-Open on Thursday, Oct. 5th
We know how you all love some Chick-fil-A around here so anytime there's news pertaining to any of the Acadiana locations, we try to keep you up to speed.
The latest big scoop involves the return of the location on Louisiana Avenue just off I-10 in the Target shopping center. (3205 Louisiana Avenue to be exact.)
After being closed since July 13, we now know when the re-open date will be.
They'll be back in business with a newly re-designed restaurant this Thursday, October 5th.
This location has been closed since July 13 to remodel the building and drive-thru.
At the time, officials with Chick-fil-A said the restaurant would be closed for up to three months, so it looks like construction stayed on schedule.
A key focus of the renovations was to reduce wait times. A second drive-thru was added along with enhancements made to the drive-thru work area, known as the "Drive-Thru Cockpit." This was aimed at making it more efficient and comfortable for employees.
We'll get to see for ourselves soon enough how much of an impact in wait times the changes will actually make. If it's anything like the fancy new location on Ridge Road, customers should be pretty satisfied.
By the way, if this was your go-to Chick-fil-A location and you're hankering to get back into your routine, they're open tomorrow morning bright and early at 6:30 a.m.
